Go Go Go! Lovely Restaurant, Lovely staff, & Most importantly Lovely Food!

The restaurant itself is lovely, very modern, clean and inviting. We made an online reservation which was quick & easy to do, I do recommend booking online as it fills up fairly quickly this can be done on www.paxburger.co.uk. Our reservation was for 4 adults & 2 children. Upon arrival we went straight up to our table but we did have an opportunity to get some drinks at the downstairs bar.

There is a small but good selection of different burgers to choose from on the menu and there is generally a couple of specials.

I decided on the PAX A PUNCH BURGER £10
Beef Patty, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Smoked BBQ Pulled Ox Cheek, House Ketchup, Spicy Mayo, Brioche Bun

They were coooked perfectly as to how we had ordered them although I must say as I am a gherkin fan (Yes the one that will eat yours out of your burger!) I would have liked to see an option of a gherkin somewhere whether this be in a burger or a side order!

You can also choose a selection of side dishes to choose from we opted for the coleslaw (Homemade) £2 and the onion rings (Proper Onion Rings I must add) £2. Both recommended.

There is a variety of different drinks on offer I went with an old classic favourite of mine Ben Shaws cloudy lemonade £2 My husband who ordered the same Burger as me went for the Very Vanilla Milkshake which was extremely tasty £5 (He did say it was well worth it!) I had a taste and it was very yummy!

My son had the JUNIOR ‘LICKY LIPS’ CHICKEN BURGER £6 (Set Price for children Under 10)

Southern Fried Buttermilk Chicken, Tomato, House Ketchup, Baby Gem, Mayo and Brioche Bun

I must say I was extremely impressed with the children’s ‘Meal Deal’ £6 for Burger, Fries & a Drink which were all full size.

The whole atmosphere is great the music was modern and overall it was a very enjoyable family meal. The waitress was ok she did her job but wasn’t engaging, friendly or particularly interested in us, if she had of been I think it might of just topped the experience off but nevertheless it didn’t spoil the meal in anyway.

We received the bill and headed downstairs to pay and my son picked up one of the pax lollipops for the way home so Pax Burger get’s an extra bonus point for the extra little touch!
